I hate it when stupidity and tragedy go hand in hand…..

Sure it was very stupid but why aren’t ALL gun tragedies resulting in sentences like this one? Why do MOST of the dopes who leave guns unattended, loaded, and ready to fire just felt sorry when they’ve lost a child or another loved one? Call me a cynic but could this have anything to do with the lady’s skin color?

If I wrote he gun laws, every gun would be registered and the registered owner would be legally responsible for it.
The gun would have also been insured.
And locked up.
But, of course, some people would ignore that law.
But making people legally responsible for their guns would mean that fewer would be floating around.

If I wrote the gun control laws, that gun would be registered and they would know who owns it. That person would also charged with negligent homicide.
But, I have to admit, the adults in this home seem so wildly irresponsible, no laws could probably help them.

Why do people leave loaded firearms, that are “so easy to operate, even a child can do it” so easily accessible to children? How stupid is that?
