Cindy Jacobs is a brilliant spiritual hustler.

    • allison1050 January 24th, 2015 at 7:41 pm

I was concerned about her mental status speaking in that strangehigh pitched voice and uttering nothing but nonsense.

      • Dwendt44 January 25th, 2015 at 11:35 am

I’m more concerned about the brain dead fools that actually send her money.

        • allison1050 January 26th, 2015 at 5:09 am

          Now that’s certainly true.

  2. allison1050 January 24th, 2015 at 7:39 pm

I watched yesterday and talk about fun-ny!

  3. Suzanne McFly January 24th, 2015 at 8:12 pm

When Cindy talked, she seemed confused about the places she prayed for as well as the outcomes her prayer had on these instances. I think it is safe to say, if God does have a prophet here it definitely isn’t this fashion plate.

    • Dwendt44 January 25th, 2015 at 11:34 am

nothing fails like prayer. Unless she means ‘prey’, as in preying on the gullible.

      • Suzanne McFly January 25th, 2015 at 2:56 pm

That is pretty much what she is doing. Taking those with very little funds and brains for their disposable funds. Well it would either go to her or palin so we gotta pick the lesser of 2 evils.

    • fahvel January 25th, 2015 at 1:12 pm

no no, god stutters so cindy gets a bit confused on a daily basis.

      • Suzanne McFly January 25th, 2015 at 2:58 pm

Ohhhh, God doesn’t talk to me, she just shakes her head at me so I had no idea how she sounds when she talks. That explains Cindy’s confusion.

  4. fahvel January 24th, 2015 at 8:21 pm

    looooonatick – spelled correctly??????

  5. KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker January 24th, 2015 at 8:44 pm

Cindy Jacobs is a shyster like Jim Jones and David Koresh.
BTW, what’s with the “like us on facebook” crap happening on every fucking article?

    • Dwendt44 January 25th, 2015 at 11:33 am

Alan’s facebook page doesn’t have very many likes. I’m sure he has plenty of visitors though. I rarely ‘like’ a page as it then intrudes into MY newsfeed.

      • KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker January 25th, 2015 at 1:44 pm

        Okay….liked.
Good to be part of the team.

  6. Spirit of America January 24th, 2015 at 8:55 pm

Never heard of cindy, did a quick search and found this as part of the write up…

“…and has spoken on nearly every inhabited continent…”

It just struck me as a bit funny to say because a person can achieve this by speaking in 3 or 4 or 5 cities and make that claim.

(sorry, it was just a thought and i figured i’d type it out)

    • Larry Schmitt January 25th, 2015 at 9:06 am

So she never made it to Antarctica? I assume they meant “inhabited by humans.”

      • bluejayray January 25th, 2015 at 10:20 am

There are humans living on Antarctica, too.

        • Larry Schmitt January 25th, 2015 at 10:50 am

Not native, only researchers. Otherwise, why use the term “inhabited continent?”

      • Spirit of America January 25th, 2015 at 9:17 pm

Only 6 inhabited continents, so saying spoken on nearly all of them would have to be 5 or less. Antarctica wouldn’t be considered at all, since as you stated below, no native humans inhabit it.

Bobby Jindal has decided to hitch his apparent presidential hopes to a collection of Christian-nation extremists, teaming with the American Family Association, influential activist David Lane, and a collection of self-proclaimed prophets and apostles to host a prayer rally in Baton Rouge today meant to turn America “back to God.” – See more at: http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/rachel-maddow-takes-questionable-characters-jindal-prayer-rally#sthash.uzKX9i7O.dpuf

    Cash or credit card accepted..

  9. StoneyCurtisll January 25th, 2015 at 2:23 am

    Oh Look…
    Cindy even resurrected Jim Bakker’s career~! (4:00)

  10. Candide Thirtythree January 25th, 2015 at 3:56 am

Seriously, Jindal is so embarrassing that we are moving to another state! I kid you not, my dear hubby always said that he planned to die right here in our beloved swamp but after the last 6 years of hubby screaming at the TV every time he saw or heard about Jindal, he decided it was time to move, like I have wanted to do for years!

A few months ago we bought property in Colorado so that we can get away from the crazy.

Our daughter is a scientist and when she is different states and different countries at symposiums and meeting and whatnot, she says she dreads for anyone to ask her where she is from. She said that when she says Louisiana, they usually say, “Well, you don’t sound like you are from Louisiana!”

Even people in different countries have a low opinion of Louisiana even if they have never heard of about half the states, they know Louisiana. UGH!

    • Larry Schmitt January 25th, 2015 at 9:07 am

Now if your hubby hears some asshole politician on tv, (and he will) he can just light up and chill out instead of blowing a gasket.

      • Candide Thirtythree January 25th, 2015 at 12:31 pm

that is what I am hoping anyway but he probably won’t, not his cup of tea.

        • Larry Schmitt January 25th, 2015 at 12:55 pm

Interesting that you use “cup of tea,” as that was one of the slang terms for pot years ago. I’m sure no one still uses it. It would be like calling it Mary Jane.

    • Dwendt44 January 25th, 2015 at 11:31 am

Colorado has it’s own share of loonies. But they aren’t as obvious or quit as dangerous.

      • Candide Thirtythree January 25th, 2015 at 12:38 pm

Yea, there are pockets of loonies everywhere but Louisiana has turned into one big pocket of loony and the politics is toxic.

At least in Colorado there are areas of well educated, stable, conscious human beings to alliance out the crazy.

    • Bunya January 25th, 2015 at 3:27 pm

How does the state of Louisiana explain something like Bobby Jindal? On the other hand, this is the same state that gave us David “diaperman” Vitter. I’m afraid it’s turning into another republican Jesus state, like Kansas.

Now, Illinois (where I live) has produced its share of goofs, but we have to stand in awe at the state of Louisiana.

      • Candide Thirtythree January 27th, 2015 at 8:34 am

I know right???? It is mind boggling. You would think that a state that has so many universities inside about a 100 mile range would not suffer from the stupid as much as some other states that are more spread out.

I have been all over Louisiana, many times and while it is a pretty big state, most of it is empty, nothing but fields and swamps as far as you can see. Kids out where we live have to ride the bus for 2 hours just to pick up enough kids to fill a small school.

I go into the city and every where you go is so bright and full of life and happy, interesting people and I just can’t imagine any of them voting for the crazy, so either they aren’t voting or someone is cheating!

It was pretty cool here in the 70s and before but things have changed a lot, it has gotten a lot meaner, a lot less free, lots of boarded up buildings and payday loan and pawn shops everywhere. Those are the vultures that circle a community when it is in its death throws, you know your town is dead when there are nothing left but payday loans, pawn shops and Mexican restaurants, it’s time to go.

American Family Association lays it on the line on their website front page today – “Conservatism and liberalism belong to Him. The White House belongs to Him. The Constitution belongs to Him. And our rights belong to Him. He has loaned these things to us on one condition: that we use them for His glory. If we must lay our rights down for Christ to be glorified, it is our obligation to do so.” Nothing less than theocracy – the opposite of the Constitution – is the goal of the Christian right wing.

    • Larry Schmitt January 25th, 2015 at 10:02 am

That’s all complete BS. All those things they mentioned were created by people, and had nothing to do with god. Was there a crane descending from the clouds when the White House was being built? Where do they get this crap from?

      • Dwendt44 January 25th, 2015 at 11:29 am

They pull it out of their bung hole like most conservative ideas.

    • fancypants January 25th, 2015 at 3:02 pm

Oh you mean This Thomas Jefferson ?

[N]o man shall be compelled to frequent or support any religious worship, place, or ministry whatsoever, nor shall be enforced, restrained, molested, or burthened in his body or goods, nor shall otherwise suffer, on account of his religious opinions or belief; but that all men shall be free to profess, and by argument to maintain, their opinions in matters of religion, and that the same shall in no wise diminish, enlarge, or affect their civil capacities.
      — Thomas Jefferson, Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom (1779), quoted from Merrill D Peterson, ed, Thomas Jefferson: Writings (1984), p. 347

Exactly. The right wing is nuts.

Still waiting on that cell phone video of the dead rising.
