3-Year-Old Shoots Mom In Leg While She Sleeps

Officers arrived at the house in Davie [Florida] around 3:45 a.m. after a mother reported she was shot once in the leg, the Sun-Sentinel reports. She was rushed to the hospital to undergo surgery and remains there with non-life threatening injuries.
Police said they aren’t sure how the 3-year-old boy got the gun or who it belongs to, and they are still investigating the incident. Charges could be brought against an adult in the home if someone did not properly secure the weapon.

Under Florida law, no charges would be filed if the kid fired a fatal shot, therefore the investigation continues.

Before the gun shot was heard a neighbor said he heard a youngster yelling, “I said get me my Cheerios, bitch”. Kid was hungry, can’t blame them.
