    By “voyeurism” he means justice. Does he seriously think a citizen would be concerned about his privacy if dashcam footage can prove police brutality?

    From the article above I’m left to assume Cortez was in possession of drugs and a weapon, and the charges were dropped. If true, this only shows how ridiculous it is to beat on a person instead of properly arresting him. Not only did they let a criminal back on the streets but they risked a multi-million dollar suit if they had killed or gravely injured him. I don’t understand why cops like this still have a job.

    Well golly I learned something. Here I thought use of dashboard cameras was mandatory for cops. Turns out it isn’t- it’s just a suggestion.

    We have a long way to go in this country toward police reform.
