[su_center_ad]He loves power, the limelight, and money.

[su_thin_right_skyscraper_ad]Food costs at the Israeli prime minister’s residence more than doubled after Benjamin Netanyahu took office in 2009, reaching nearly $120,000 in 2012, a third of it in takeout meals. The state paid about $2,000 a month to clean the Netanyahus’ private home in the seaside town of Caesarea, though the family spent most of its time in Jerusalem.

A report published Tuesday byIsrael’s state comptroller said these and other expenses — including $68,000 over two years in makeup, hairstyling and “presentation” for Mr. Netanyahu and his wife, Sara — “strayed from the cornerstone principles of financial management and the principles of proportionality, reasonableness, saving and efficiency.”

Noting that Mrs. Netanyahu had reimbursed state coffers $1,035 after she was found to have pocketed the deposit money from recycled beverage bottles, the comptroller, Joseph Haim Shapira, said he had handed his investigative material over to the attorney general because it raised “suspicion of a criminal act.”

“This is public money, and the law for a penny is the law for 100,” Mr. Shapira said in the introduction to the 36-page report. “Public trust in government institutions is the foundation stone of every democratic regime.”

I wonder how much more bad press Netanyahu is going to get before coming to speak to the republicans? This has the makings for a real pr disaster.

      I’m really hoping.

It doesn’t matter much here…but his election is in March…That is where the bad press belongs

Well he seems to be part of the bad side of politics. He will fit right in when he is here hanging with boner.

The similarities should be pointed out as often as possible. I wonder if Bibi is a booze-head like Boehner and his buddies.

Conservatives are the same the world over. While they denigrate the poor and work to keep them poor, they are stealing the public blind to line their own pockets. i could live for several years on what they spent on makeup.

Let’s see … he loves the limelight, power and money.
Sounds like the GOP to me. Too bad he’s backing the wrong horse.

And when showing off the residence…had the crew show the servants kitchen rather than his own…a sort of Jewish Checkers speech….this guy lives high on the hog and pretends to be just one of the unwashed masses…A Baggers delight.

His party’s power base is with the more recent immigrants and the expansionists. I think he will win the election next month. It will take more than has come out before Israelis vote this bum out.
