And I’d bet that the majority of those teen births have no health insurance, so they end up on the public dole, and cost taxpayers many thousands each in unpaid hospital bills, even more than a normal delivery, because they tend not to get the pre-natal care.

Spitzer is a doctor and a repuke? Typical GOP doctor like Ben Carson and few other GOP doctors… you won’t believe they’re doctors when you hear them talk stupid.

Texas funds itself with sales taxes and welfare from the feds. No income tax. It balances it’s budget by spending as little as possible on public services.

That might become the orifice of choice in Texas
Bunya April 1st, 2015 at 2:12 pm
They should make a law mandating all republicans and conservatives be spayed or neutered in an effort to cut down on the rampant idiocy in that state. Those mental defectives already infecting the population (like Louie Gohmert and Rick Perry) should be immediately lobotomized.
rg9rts April 1st, 2015 at 2:34 pm
Cruz too please Cruz
Bunya April 1st, 2015 at 4:00 pm
I forgot Cruz is from Texas – or is he from Canada?
I demand to see his long form birth certificate!
rg9rts April 1st, 2015 at 4:31 pm
Texas is what he claims now
Bunya April 1st, 2015 at 4:54 pm
That’s what he CLAIMS, but how do we know he’s not lying? We won’t, until he produces his long form birth certificate, in which case we’ll declare it a forgery.
rg9rts April 1st, 2015 at 2:33 pm
April fools?? Right?? Wait a minute this is Texas….so is the legislature going to abstain too???
Angelo_Frank April 1st, 2015 at 5:35 pm
Rep. Stuart Spitzer (R-Kaufman) is not atypical of a large percentage of Texans who believe that abstinence education is the key to preventing teen pregnancy and STD/HIV. They insist that those that indulge in sexual activity prior to marriage are being punished by God if they become pregnant or infected with disease. I wouldn’t be surprised if next on their legislative agenda will be the the reintroduction of chastity belts, mandatory for single young women in school.

Spitzer is definitely in the running for the ” dumbass of the day ” award.
