Fiorina Makes False Hillary Claims, Corrected On Air

Carly Fiorina claimed on MSNBC that Hillary Clinton hadn’t addressed her vote for the Iraq war, and that she neglected to address the collapse in Iraq. Neither claims are true.
In an interview with Andrea Mitchell Wednesday afternoon, 2016 candidate Carly Fiorina claimed Hillary Clinton had not answered a question about Iraq, causing Mitchell to correct her.
“Every single Republican candidate has been asked about their vote for the war in Iraq,” Fiorina said. “The one person who’s not been asked because, she won’t answer the question, is Hillary Clinton.”
“She actually was asked and did say last week in New Hampshire that it was a mistake,” Mitchell said, referring to an admittedly rare series of questions Clinton took outside a New Hampshire campaign stop.
Fiorina quickly pivoted. “But she hasn’t said what happened from 2011 when both she and President Obama declared victory in Iraq,” she said. “They declared victory in Iraq in 2011. She was the Secretary of State. No one is declaring victory in Iraq now. What happened?”
Even this wasn’t really true; Clinton addressed the Iraq collapse last summer.

Lesson to be learned — if you’re going to embed unsubstantiated accusations in your fact-devoid talking points and don’t want to be challenged by the interviewer, stick to giving said interviews on FOX News.

I’d rather go deaf than to listen to anything Fiorina has to say, as you know in advance it will not be true or sane. When a company pays you enough money to go away and live the high life forever on a nice Caribbean Island you should know you’re poison and shut up and go away forever.
