Josh Duggar’s initial apology for cheating on his wife included a confession that he was a porn addict. A second version removed that part of the confession.
Apparently, this was an addiction that only took Josh Duggar a few hours to overcome.
Hours after the reality star admitted to cheating on his wife and being addicted to pornin a statement released on his family’s website, that same statement now only makes reference to his infidelity.
In the original version, posted early Thursday, the 27-year-old admitted, “While espousing faith and family values, I have secretly over the last several years been viewing pornography on the internet and this became a secret addiction and I became unfaithful to my wife.” Now that sentence reads, “While espousing faith and family values, I have been unfaithful to my wife.”
But that’s not the only bit of editing done to the mea culpa. Gone is a detailed reference to the molestation scandal that engulfed Duggar and the rest of his familyearlier this summer, when he admitted to molesting underage girls when he was a teenager.
