Leader Of Carson’s Church Tells Him To Stop Demonizing Muslims

Seventh Day Adventists face their own discrimination because it is not part of mainstream Christianity. For that reason, a leader of that church is asking that Ben Carson stop demonizing Muslims.
Geoffrey Nelson-Blake, who describes himself as a “clergy-trained fellow Seventh-day Adventist” and “director of the interfaith Community Organizing Residency at Bend the Arc,” has penned a lengthy open letter which is formally addressed to Ben Carson but appears to be aimed at educating the public on the differences between what his religion really stands for and what Carson is advocating.
“As a lifelong Seventh-day Adventist,” Nelson-Blake writes, “I am well aware (and assume you are, too) of the fears held by many in our community of the possibility of persecution for beliefs that differ from mainstream Christianity.” He goes on to opine that Carson’s demonizing of Muslims is similar to the manner in which others demonize Adventists.
