A man was shot outside Los Angeles’s famed Comedy Store early Wednesday.

The victim was standing with a group of people outside the comedy venue about 12:49 a.m. when a man wearing a hoodie walked up and opened fire, said Lt. Steve Jauch of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was struck at least once in the upper torso. He was taken to a hospital, where he was declared dead. He has not been identified.
