PA Officer Shot To Death Responding To Domestic Dispute

Lloyd Reed (pictured), a 25-year veteran, was killed Saturday night exchanging gunfire after being called to a domestic dispute.
Raymond Shetler Jr, 31, was taken into custody just after 3am following a six-hour manhunt that ended at a power plant near New Florence, east of Pittsburgh.
St Clair Township Officer Lloyd Reed, a 25-year law enforcement veteran, was pronounced dead at a local hospital after being called to a domestic situation that erupted into gun violence.
The woman involved in the domestic dispute with Shetler, which happened around 9.15pm, received minor injuries but did not go to the hospital.
Shetler fled the incident after an exchange of gunfire with Reed, and is being treated for a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
