Bernie Sanders is, after all, seeking the DEMOCRATIC nomination.

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) distanced himself from the remarks of a surrogate who slammed “corporate Democratic whores” during a massive Wednesday night rally in New York City.

“Medicare-for-all will never happen if we continue to elect corporate Democratic whores who are beholden to big pharma and the private insurance industry instead of us,” Paul Song, a health care activist, told the crowd of around 27,000 people.

Song later said he wasn’t referring to Clinton, and apologized for using the words to describe “some in Congress.”
