Denny Hastert has been ordered to prison June 22.

U.S. District Judge Thomas M. Durkin ordered Hastert to report by 2 p.m. on June 22, but didn’t specify where the former House speaker would go. Politico reported that Hastert was expected to serve his time at a federal prison hospital in Minnesota.

Hastert was charged a year ago for illegally structuring bank withdrawals, which he used to pay $1.7 million out of a total $3.5 million agreement to a man who accused him of sexual assault dating back to his time as a high school teacher and wrestling coach. Hastert pleaded guilty in the case and was sentenced last month.

When asked explicitly during a sentencing hearing if he had sexually abused young men, the longest-serving Republican House speaker replied, “yes.”
