Mayor carjacked at gunpoint

The mayor of Sanford, Florida was carjacked while out side his him.
Mayor Jeff Triplett was standing in front of a home on Chapman Avenue in Sanford about 2:15 a.m. when three men approached him. Two of the men pointed a gun at him and stole his car keys.
Additionally, the robbers stole Triplett’s wallet before they drove off in his Mercedes, police said.
