Priebus: ‘It’s just taken longer to pivot’
Reince Preibus is indulging himself in some wishful thinking, and hoping that wishful thinking comes true.
He told Chuck Todd on Meet the Press that he’s gotten to know Trump really well in this campaign and says he’s far different in private than in public.

“If the public sees the Donald Trump I’ve gotten to know in private,” Priebus said, “he will not be stopped.”
Todd pointed out Trump never shows that side of himself.
Priebus excused it away by saying this is Trump’s first campaign and he was in primary mode most of the time and “it’s just taken longer to pivot and I think he’s pivoting.”
