Trump proves he hasn’t read Constitution in statement claiming otherwise
You see, if Trump had read the Constitution and understood it, he’d know that, indeed, Mr. Khan, and everyone else, has the right to criticize him.
Trump first responded with cruelty and inaccuracies to a family that lost a loved one to war. But then Trump released a written statement responding to the Khans that actually seemed to prove their claim that he hadn’t read the Constitution…:
While I feel deeply for the loss of his son, Mr. Khan who has never met me, has no right to stand in front of millions of people and claim I have never read the Constitution, (which is false) and say many other inaccurate things.

This — freedom of speech — is actually the first right outlined in the Constitution’s Bill of Rights, along with freedom of religion, of the press, of assembly, to petition the government. If Trump hasn’t even read that far, can we be really sure that he really has read the full US Constitution?
