Out of the settlement, $21 million will go to about 7,000 former Trump University enrollees in two California class action lawsuits and the remaining $4 million will cover a case brought against Trump by New York’s attorney general Eric Schneiderman, according to the report. Trump addressed the cases in a campaign video where he said he is “not a settler.”
“I just don’t believe in settling, especially when you’re right,” he said. “Once you settle, everybody sues you.”
