Press conference reveals Trump protects the white nationalists – and probably is one
Let’s take a look at a few of the steaming piles of soundbite that real estate mogul Donald Trump’s Tuesday afternoon news conference, much of which centered around the terrorist incident in Charlottesville
It’s disgraceful. Denying our people much-needed investments in their community and I just want to show you this because it was just shown me and I think I’m going to show it to the media. Both real and fake media, by the way. This is what it takes to get something approved today.

The statement I made on Saturday, the first statement, was a fine statement. But you don’t make statements that direct unless you know the facts. It takes a little while to get the facts.
Because reading Breitbart.com takes time, and it’s tough to concentrate for more than two minutes when you’re a fascist with ADHD and/or dementia. And that first statement was a “fine” statement if you want to equate peaceful anti-racist protesters in a prayer circle being surrounded by stooges with tiki torches, or a handful of antifa protesters in scuffles with Klan sympathizers with a terrorist running over and killing peaceful protesters.
When I make a statement, I like to be correct. I want the facts. … ut unlike you and unlike – excuse me – unlike you and unlike the media, before I make a statement, I like to know the facts.
And where do you get the facts? Steve Bannon, Stephen Miller, and other aides with “alt-right” white nationalist sympathies.
I didn’t know David Duke was there.
In other words, you didn’t have all the facts, crazy uncle sphinctermount.
The driver of the car is a murderer. And what he did was a horrible, horrible, inexcusable thing.
Congratulations, chucklenuts – you have just poisoned the jury well for any upcoming trial. Presidents never comment on guilt or innocence. What part of that don’t you get?

[reporter: “Senator McCain defined them as the same group…–”] OK, what about the alt-left that came charging them? Excuse me. What about the alt-left that came charging at the – as you say, the alt-right? Do they have any semblance of guilt?
There was no charging on Friday – just a menacing crowd of proto-Nazis carrying torches. Most reputable news organizations reported Saturday morning scuffles and clashes among individuals and small groups before the police intervened.
Let me ask you this. What about the fact they came charging – that they came charging with clubs in their hands, swinging clubs? Do they have any problem? I think they do.
Numerous news organizations reported on right-wingers charging anti-racist protesters and using clubs, brass knuckles, and some carrying arms. Again, where do you get your so-called “facts”?
You had a group – you had a group on the other side that came charging in without a permit, and they were very, very violent.
No. You had a group of counterprotesters trying to exercise their first amendment rights, and you had another side that arguably violated their permit in multiple ways – and I haven’t even gotten to the part about a woman getting killed by a Nazi-sympathizing military washout terrorist.
So this week it’s Robert E. Lee. I noticed that Stonewall Jackson’s coming down. I wonder, is it George Washington next week? And is it Thomas Jefferson the week after?
No. Neither was a general in the treasonous Confederate military, dumbass. Didn’t you take American history?

Because the only plane you care about is the one with the word “TRUMP” on the sides.
Mr. Trump, you not only undid everything you said yesterday concerning white nationalists – you showed with your evasions and impulsive, Tourette’s-like responses that you will do anything to avoid criticizing Klansmen, American Nazis, and fascists who seek to use violence against anyone whose skin color, ethnicity, or politics does not match their dogmatic, hate-filled ideology.
You’re one of them.
