The Donald should expect a ‘Stormy Sunday’ in the near future
A little after noon today, NBC Nes reported that Donald Trump’s lawyer Michael Cohen used a Trump Organization e-mail to communicate with Stormy Daniels’s attorney in the process of setting up a hush money payment through a separate LLC created especially to pay Daniels. Cohen identified himself as a “special counsel to Donald Trump,” which strongly undercuts the distance Cohen had tried to put between himself and Trump, and suggests Trump and/or his business associates knew about the matter.
This adds to a week of woes The Donald has faced this week as detail after detail of the dodgy Daniels deal is divulged.
To top it all off, erotic cinema’s most well-known actress has talked to Anderson Cooper in an interview for a future episode of a certain weekly TV newsmagazine with a history of setting the Monday morning headlines.
Former adult film actress Stormy Daniels has recorded an interview for CBS’s 60 Minutes after filing a civil suit against President Trump this week in an attempt to void a nondisclosure agreement between the pair.
A source familiar with the program told The Hill that Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, will appear on 60 Minutes on a future date but won’t be on the program this coming Sunday.
Michael Avenatti, the attorney representing Clifford, tweeted a photo of himself Thursday along with the actress and CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, a contributor to 60 Minutes.
