Uh-oh! It’s not just Cohen – look who else has ratted to the feds about Trump’s hush money
This is going to trigger an early morning Tourette’s tweet tantrum.
Late Wednesday, the Wall Street Journal (subscription required) reportedt that David Pecker, chairman of AMI, publisher of National Enquirer, and a personal friend of Donald Trump, has provided prosecutors with details and specifics about payments Trump’s former personal fixer attorney, Michael Cohen, had arranged with women who alleged sexual encounters with then-candidate Trump —”including Mr. Trump’s knowledge of the deals.”
This follows reports that Pecker’s AMI has come under increased scrutiny from federal justice officials following Michael Cohen eight guilty pleas yesterday in federal court.
