It’s Infrastructure Week Again, Bigly! Grab Your Bolton-Trump Popcorn…
… because this is not going to end well for either party involved in this very public catfight.
Former reality show host Donald J. Trump has been flexing his miniscule tweetfingers again this morning.
Mmmkay. This is not the first time Deranged Donald has played the ol’ “You’re FIRED!!1!” card.
The problem is, he played it against someone who loses nothing by pushing back — on the pornstar-diddling debaucher’s favorite communication platform!
CNBC has this:
The tweet was posted about 90 minutes before Bolton was expected to appear at a press briefing with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. Bolton’s planned appearance had been publicly announced by the White House. …
White House spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham told CNBC, when asked if Trump’s invitation to the Taliban to meet at Camp David for peace talks was the breaking point of his relationship with Bolton, said, “No — it was many, many issues.”
I’m not so sure Stephanie Grisham is as reliable a source as Bolton, which is saying a lot.
A few minutes ago, NBC’s Hans Nichols told Andrea Mitchell that Bolton had texted him, saying he had offered to resign last night and submitted a letter of resignation this morning.
And there’s this:
Palpable tension between WH & NSC staffs right now.
A pro-Bolton NSC official came to speak with reporters inside the West Wing when Press Secy Stephanie Grisham walked by, gave a look & said: “Oh look, right outside my office” as she walked past.— Peter Alexander (@PeterAlexander) September 10, 2019
Ambassador Bolton to me just now: “I will have my say in due course. But I have given you the facts on the resignation. My sole concern is US national security.”

Bolton differs from Trump version of his resignation. "Offered last night without his asking," he texts me. "Slept on it and gave it to him this morning."

Bolton and his allies are already pushing back strongly and rigorously, and exposing both Donald Trump’s ineptitude and a complete breakdown of any process of national security decision-making.
It is time for Congress to remove this incompetent pretender who had no mandate in the first place given his inability to even win the popular vote. Forget for a moment about the overwhelming corruption – the clear and present danger of a rank amateur hair-brained, hair-trigger impulsive celebrity is itself a high crime and grounds for impeachment and conviction.
